ITDFC Delegation Meets Indian Ambassador to Strengthen India–Africa Cooperation
An ITDFC delegation, led by Mr. Moussa Konate, Country Director of the International Trade & Delegation Federation of Chambers (ITDFC) for Burkina Faso, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Om Prakash Meena, Ambassador of India to Burkina Faso, at the Embassy of India in Ouagadougou.
During the meeting, the delegation discussed opportunities to further strengthen India–Burkina Faso cooperation in agriculture, trade, investment, and food security. The delegation also extended a formal invitation to the Embassy of India to participate in the India–Africa Food Security Summit & Expo 2026, scheduled to be held on 7–8 October 2026 in New Delhi.
The discussions highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral partnerships, promoting agribusiness collaboration, facilitating institutional engagement, and encouraging greater participation of stakeholders from Burkina Faso in the upcoming summit. The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of both sides to advancing sustainable agricultural development and deepening India–Africa relations through dialogue, trade, investment, and strategic partnerships.
